1. EDITORIAL:
Spiritual Warfare - Letter #23...
Much
to my surprise, especially considering the recent release of Letter #22, the
Lord has had me in an intensive study on the fullness of the spiritual
battle that is being fought for and around
us each and every day. Even though we spend considerable time
discussing the fullness and reality of spiritual warfare in The Letters -
beginning right in Letter #1 - I was compelled to investigate a recurring
theme within the Scriptures that evolved around the phrases,
"spirit of" and "Spirit of".
What my investigation
discovered was that Satan,
upon acquiring dominion over humanity and
the remainder of this creation, through our fall in the Garden of
Eden, released thirteen (13)
primary spiritual armies of evil upon humanity. It
is from this basic array
of evil, that he
has afflicted and tormented us ever
since.
In
combating the "spirits" of
Satan's army though, our Father in Heaven has sent His
"Administering Spirits" to help us fight against these evil
forces. The resulting
"spirit - vs - Spirit" battles are something to behold.
It
should come as no surprise to any
Disciple of Yahshua Mashiach (Jesus Christ), that as we approach the
end of this age and the return of our Messiah, that the activities of Satan are
going to increase. Scripture tells us very clearly that
this is to be so. Additionally though, we must also realize that as we
draw nearer to His return and the fulfillment of His Word, that we would be
called upon to recognize the evil around us - and to combat that evil.
Letter
#23 is intended to aid in the identification of the battle-lines that may
have been drawn around your very own household,
neighborhood, workplace or city. In exposing these matters to
the Light of God's Word, however,
Letter #23 was written to help eradicate whatever
strongholds the evil
one may have built around you, your family, your community
or your Ekklesia (Church - Body of Yahshua).
I
wholeheartedly pray that you find this latest offering to be insightful and
helpful in your personal battles... May our Lord be glorified and
magnified through your every endeavor of
faith.
2. FEATURE
ARTICLE: Spiritual Warfare, A
Front Line Report.
As we
draw ever nearer to the return of our Messiah, it is clear, through the Word
of Prophecy that we have been given, that the Ekklesia, the Body of Yahshua
(Jesus), will draw near unto Him -
and together unto each other - during
the latter days, and that we will work
together throughout the tribulation period in what is called, "The
Great Harvest".
For
the past twenty-four years
(more or less, depending upon the call), in preparation for the
"Harvest" to come, many brethren around
the world have been called out from "Babylon" (The False
Religious Institutions) in order for the Qodesh Ruach (Holy Spirit) to
set-aside those brethren - in advance of the calling out of main Body -
so that their hearts,
minds and souls would be
prepared for the labor to come. The
fullness of these matters is becoming clearer every day!
These brethren who have been "called out" for so long, are being readied for use by the Qodesh Ruach, so that they can minister to the remainder of the Body, when they finally do hear the call to "Come Out". Why? Because the Body will need to hear and be taught the fullness of the Truth of the deception to which they have been ensnared... And, the Body must be taught correctly in all things, so that Babylon will be completely removed from the practice of their faith in our loving Lord. The Bride will be prepared to meet the Groom by the Bridesmaids!!!
These brethren who have been "called out" for so long, are being readied for use by the Qodesh Ruach, so that they can minister to the remainder of the Body, when they finally do hear the call to "Come Out". Why? Because the Body will need to hear and be taught the fullness of the Truth of the deception to which they have been ensnared... And, the Body must be taught correctly in all things, so that Babylon will be completely removed from the practice of their faith in our loving Lord. This building-up
of the Body is in complete
accord with Ephesians 4, by the way, because at no other time in
history will the Body be built-up in quite the same way as it will be during
the last days... And, every Gift of the Ruach (Spirit) will be needed
to accomplish the task that will soon be at hand!
In
being "called out", however,
these brethren have been living through
a "Wilderness" experience in our Lord, and in the wilderness they
have been trained and prepared by Him in the proper use of His Word, as well
as in the proper use of the Gifts
that His Qodesh Ruach has already imparted to them.
For
the past year or so though, many
of the wilderness brethren have begun
to come together in small
groups, and are beginning the
process of uniting and solidifying the understanding and comprehension that they
believe the Qodesh Ruach (Holy
Spirit) has imparted to them
over those decades in the wilderness. Recently, through such an
exchange - which is ever on-going and
Yahshua glorifying - the Lord has opened my eyes to a difficulty that
His Body is going to experience as we attempt to unite,
and this brief article is in response to,
and in understanding of that difficulty, so
that the remainder of the Body might be forewarned,
forearmed and prepared for the
battles ahead. In
knowledge and wisdom we overcome in our Lord.
First,
Steel sharpens Steel! You have seen this sentiment coursing throughout
The Letters (and elsewhere - to be
sure), and it is a fact! While
a sword sharpened in
the wilderness by the Qodesh Ruach (Holy Spirit) can never be
dismissed or diminished in any way, it must be understood that no one
individual is going to be given all of the answers; no one Disciple is going
to possess all of the knowledge. Yahshua (Jesus)
always sent His Disciples out by two's, and even during the last
days, there will be "Two Witnesses" prophesying to the world, not
one. This is an essential
point to remember, beloved, because we need to be right thinking Disciples,
who will bow to the authority and wisdom of our Messiah, and humbly
submit to the Gifts and
knowledge that He has given to others within the Body...
We
must also remember though, that
when Yahshua sent His Disciples out in two's, He never appointed one over
another. His Disciples all went
out as equals - under His Headship. Authority and Leadership are Gifts
of the Ruach (Spirit) and must never be ignored, but the correct exercise of
any Gift, through the hands of
an approved and mature Disciple,
will never be accompanied by arrogance, or as "lording" one's
position over another. Humility is always a main-stay in the heart of
the Disciples of Yahshua, and humility will be displayed powerfully in every
relationship involving the Body of our Messiah. Driven
by His love!
It is
significant to note that after decades alone with the Ruach (Spirit) in the
wilderness though, with Him as our only Teacher, the discovery that some of
our notions and ideas might be less than 100% correct, is a difficult matter
to accept. Please permit an explanation:
Throughout
my years of study with our Lord, He had me concentrate on some very specific
areas of His Word. During those studies, I also gained an insight into many
other areas - and even though I did not concentrate fully on those "many
other areas", I
nonetheless developed a mind-set about those "lesser" matters.
I drew conclusions on a great number of things, based upon my understanding
of His Word regarding those "many other
areas", even though I
never fully concentrated on all of those areas.
And so it is throughout the Ekklesia (Body).
And,
by the way, this even includes areas that I "dug into" for
a moment or two, just because my curiosity was piqued, but which I
nevertheless did not entirely dedicate myself to "KNOW" the
fullness of the matter!
Well
then, imagine the possible results that can occur, when another brother
or sister - who has actually spent decades studying a particular area - discovers
a "chink" in our concept, thought or notion! We can either
acquiesce in the humility of our heart, knowing that the Qodesh Ruach has
directed another of the Lord's children to gain an understanding for a
matter, and learn from that brother (or sister), or we can reject the notion
that any other human can teach us anything - and we can retreat to the
wilderness in anger or frustration over
the fact that our conclusions have been questioned.
There
are at least two occasions in The Letters, where I point to the fact that I
do not have a very clear understanding for the Temple, the Services, the
Division of Land, or much else involved in Ezekiel's vision of the Temple
(Ezekiel 40 - 48). To date, nobody has come to the forefront with any
sort of explanation for these matters,
so I can only determine that this matter is still veiled. The Lord has
shown me in these chapters though, that His Temple is an inverted pyramid
(Ezekiel 41:7), and through this "revelation" has made clear
the attempted deception by Satan in presenting (however they were done)
the pyramids that we see on this planet.
Just
as Ezekiel's vision of the
Temple remains a mystery to me,
there are other mysteries (hidden to me) throughout Scripture, and I
rejoice whenever a brother or sister is able to open my eyes to these
matters... On the other hand though, there are some things that I know
"about", and in that bit of knowledge I have even gone so far as
to draw conclusions based upon my limited knowledge. Learning that I
may have a misconceived notion about these areas can either be faith
rending, or faith enhancing, depending upon how I submit to the will and the
Word of my Lord.
As we
begin to come out from the wilderness, it is my fervent prayer that we will
stand firm in the fullness of what we KNOW, while also bowing humbly to the
same Ruach (Spirit) that has imparted KNOWLEDGE to others within the Body. His
enlightenment comes through study, to be sure, but let us never forget that
enlightenment also comes through His children in the form of, "Words of
Wisdom", "Words of Knowledge", Prophecy and Teachings.
To think otherwise would be an utter violation of His Word about the Gifts.
I
wholeheartedly pray that our hearts will be open to the fullness of
everything that our loving Messiah wishes to impart to us today, as we end
this period of wilderness dwelling. We
cannot retreat back into the wilderness, because just as the Ruach is about
to call out the body from Babylon, He is calling the wilderness brethren out
of the wilderness today, and we must follow His leading in faith.
And,
I wholeheartedly pray for the forgiveness of any and every brother and
sister that I might have offended - by holding on too firmly to my
suspicions or thoughts - in those areas for which they have truly been
called to KNOW! I do so pray that the pride of the flesh will never
exceed the humility of the Lord that abides within my heart.
There
is an intense battle raging for and against the unity of the Body of Yahshua
today, beloved, and I pray with all of my heart that we will follow the
leading of the Qodesh Ruach (Holy Spirit) in bringing about the fullness of
the unity that our loving Messiah seeks for us - today! His fullness
is going to be evidenced within the faithfulness and submission of His Body.
Hold firm to what you have been given, but always abide by the law of
comparison that He has laid before us, and compare any and every teaching
that you hear with His Word; the fullness of every matter will be found in
His Word!
And,
when another within the Body presents the fullness of Scripture on a
particular point, "chinking" our concepts, thoughts or notions on
any of those "many other areas" of interest, rejoice in the
fullness of understanding, knowledge and wisdom that has been imparted
to the Whole Ekklesia, and humbly bow to the fullness of our Lord! No
one individual is going to possess all of the answers. He will never
permit it...

has had a malignant brain tumor removed, is entering an extensive phase
of chemo-therapy and truly needs our prayers.
Jacques
has had a benign tumor removed from his spine, and is on the road to
recovery... This is a prayer request for recovery - and a HUGE praise
for the success of the surgery as well!
Karen
is asking for our prayer support for her children, while praising the Lord
for His wondrous and miraculous provision in her/their lives.
Anna
is praising the Lord for His provision of a home!
Jan
and Lance are praising the Lord for Lance's new job, and for rescuing them
from a financial crisis!
Sandee
is still seeking prayer for Cyndee, Holly, Kendra and Bridget.
Laurie
Lee is praying for Dennis' release from prison.
Jennifer
AND Julie (Not related or acquainted - except through our loving Messiah)
are both asking the Lord to allow
them each to conceive - and raise children.
Judy
asks for prayer for her husband to find a good job.
We
are seeking prayer for Charlie - who has recently begun to experience
numbness in her arms and legs. The last time this happened, she had a
bone spur removed from her neck, and a disc fused. Obviously, this is
going to require the Lord's attention in order to heal this completely.
