IN THIS ISSUE:
We have just
returned from our vacation / ministry trip back east, and I was once again
reminded of the joy in
saying hello to loved ones (and
the hardship in saying
goodbye). Reunions are truly wonderful...
Visiting with a loving family that we haven't seen for years is a
true joy,
and meeting brothers and sisters in Yahshua that we have known for
years, but have never met
before in person is a true
blessing!
Seeing faces light
up with joy when you walk into a room, because you were missed - and
lighting up yourself when you enter that room, because you've missed those
occupants as well - is a very heart-moving experience. And, at each
new encounter with our loved
ones, our Father in heaven was tapping me on the shoulder, reminding me that
our ultimate reunion with HIM, and
with our heavenly family, will make the experiences we were having
here on this earth, pale in comparison.
Sadly,
however, He also reminded me that too many of the brethren no longer think
of these things - being earth-bound in so many ways. Scripture tells
us that where our treasure is, there is our heart as well (Luke
12:34), but it appears as if the treasures of this world are enticing many
to forget where our home really is.
The fullness
of these thoughts came to roost for me during those reunions, when I sat
watching my loved ones interact with one another, and saw the wrinkles and
the gray hair that wasn't present when we last met, knowing that the aging
process is driving us closer to that reunion in heaven (prayerfully)
faster than most want to acknowledge. This life is truly short,
beloved, but eternity is forever - and many are abandoning their heavenly
treasures for the temporal satisfaction of this age...
We do not know
when our Father will call us home,
and we do not know which faces will or will not be seen when we do return,
making the 'goodbye' process here
extremely difficult. But, even in these
things He reminded me that we also
do not know what any one day holds for us, and that we are to live
each day to the fullest; each day is to be surrendered unto Him, for
His praise, honor and glory! And, He
also reminded me that in each meeting - with whomever He might bring into
our lives - we are to be a testimony of His love, grace, mercy and
compassion, so that whenever we are finally called home to Him, that we will
rejoice in seeing our loved ones there with Him as well...
And, in all of
His reminding, He also gave me a brief glimpse of our reunion with Him - as
well as the reassurance of the fact that we will never have to say goodbye
again, to Him, or to our loved ones who will be with Him... All the
money and treasure in this
world cannot purchase the sheer joy that filled my heart in the glimpses and
reassurances of these things, and it is my fervent prayer that all the
brethren will discover the fullness of these things as well.
May our hearts
truly be with our treasures, and may our treasures truly be stored in the
mansions that Yahshua is preparing for us in His kingdom.
According to
the National Climatic Data Center, NOAA, all
50 States within the USA are
experiencing some level of drought, ranging
from moderate to extreme. This
is confirmed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, which
states that conditions ranging
from "D0 - Abnormally Dry" to "D4 - Drought -
Exceptional" are currently present, in one form or another, in all 50
states. The forest fires we see raging across much of the land is a testimony
to the harsh conditions that exist today.
Meteorologists
and environmentalists are once again attempting to enlighten the world about the
affects of global warming (which is a viable concern for all), but - to the
dismay of many - very little is being done to correct the wrongs that we
know exist. Very few are listening!
Spiritually,
the world - and especially, I think,
the United States - is experiencing the same drought!
And, spiritually speaking, forest
fires are raging across the land. But, to
the dismay of the true prophets and
teachers of the Body of Yahshua, very few
are listening to the cries for repentance unto Elohim, and very little is
being done to correct the wrongs that we know exist!
It troubles
the Ruach deeply to hear Elohim being given lip service by those who confess
to be His, while their very lifestyle and mannerism's speak against any and
every confession of true faith.
It grieves the
Ruach tremendously to hear "church going christians" testify
before the world of the true nature of their faith - when their mouth's spew
forth bigotry and hatred against whatever group or person simply happens to
fall into their disfavor.
It disturbs
the Ruach immensely to watch as the world turns away from Elohim, and turns
toward a worship of this world and of self, when both this world and these
bodies and souls are destined for destruction - unless we repent!
True wisdom
and knowledge are being shunned and denied today, just as true discipline
and instruction is being shunned, because in all of these things there is
accountability. But, let it not escape your notice, brethren, that
Elohim knows the hearts and minds of all, and that in His knowledge of us,
we will be judged; we will be held accountable!
The drought
that we see today is a drought
of faithlessness, and it is one which
we must repent of now, because time is of the essence!
The
Ekklesia must pull its act
together and begin
to do those things that we know are
true - we must begin to abide fully in His
love and faith. We must unite in prayer for this world,
for the glory of our King, and we must
end the spiritual drought that we know exists... In true love and
faithfulness, we must become springs
of living water unto Yahshua, so that the
world will pant to partake in
the fullness of that which spews from our hearts.
While a
drought is never comforting or pleasing, and while drought conditions are
fraught with danger, much can be learned through whatever drought we might
encounter in this lifetime. My wholehearted prayer is that the
Ekklesia will learn to abide faithfully in Yahshua - in love, mercy,
compassion and truth - and that in all of these, we would learn to bridle
our tongues for the glory of our Master and Messiah.
May the
springs of your heart be laden with sweet and refreshing water, so that the
world will lap up the fullness of your faith, and may the springs of evil
completely dry up from the ranks of Yahshua's army, so that a drought of
bitterness, anger, hatred and bigotry will exist in our ranks, for the
remainder of our days!
Trying times
are rapidly approaching, beloved, and we must prepare our hearts and minds
now for the labor and harvest to come. Please let me know how
this ministry can help in your walk of faith, so that our loving Master and
Messiah will be glorified and magnified through His faithful Army.
May whatever
drought you are experiencing in your spiritual walk end today, and may your
heart be fully renewed and refreshed in Yahshua our Messiah...
Sandee and her
daughter Holly were involved in an automobile accident. Although no
permanent injuries were found, there is tremendous pain - and rehabilitation
- associated with this accident. And, there is a financial burden that
will not be covered by insurance. Please pray that our Father
will touch these young ladies with His healing hand, and that His provision
will more than amply cover the lost wages and additional expenses
incurred...
Amy is seeking
prayer for her husband, George, who is being deceived by the enemy - and who
has turned his back on Elohim, on her and on their two sons (after 10 years
of marriage). Our sister is asking that we pray against George's
pride, and for the restoration and healing of their marriage...
Say is seeking
prayer for his Mother's salvation.
We had
many very exciting prophetic utterances spoken over us during our trip, and
we are praying for the fulfillment of our Father's word in all of those
areas: ministry release, physical healing and financial release, and we
covet your prayers in seeing
all of these things come together - today - so that we can move forward in
our labor for the glory of our loving Master and Messiah.
