1. EDITORIAL:
Prayerful Repentance!
Our Master has
told us not to be frightened when we hear of wars or rumors of war -
but to also be cognizant of world events well enough to recognize that when
Jerusalem is surrounded by armies, to know that her desolation (and
the world's tribulation) is at hand...
Today we are
hearing of wars and rumors of wars; to the point that our senses are numb
and our hearts are cold and hard. The evil one has been busy!
But the disciples of Yahshua must remain alert!
Although
Jerusalem is not surrounded by armies today, Israel is most certainly under
attack - and the threat is growing each day. At Sunset on September 6,
through sunset on September 7, the Jewish faith begins their celebration of
Rosh Hashanah - the Jewish New Year. Scripture refers to this day as
Yom Ha-Zikkaron - the day of remembrance, and also as Yom Teruah - the day
of the sounding of the shofar (the ram's horn).
I have been
impressed with the fact that we need to realize the significance of this
day, and the official sounding of the Shofar, because the Shofar has
been sounding for the Disciples of Yahshua for some time. The call to
repentance and renewal has been sounding in our hearts relentlessly,
but Rosh Hashanah provides another opportunity for us to unite in prayer!
The Shofar
will be sounding formally next week in every Jewish Temple in the world.
I think it is quite appropriate that we give thought to the
significance of the day, and join the elect of Elohim in prayerful
repentance... It is a wonderful time to pray for Israel, for
Jerusalem, and for ourselves and our government(s)
as well.

2. FEATURE ARTICLE:
Beware - As The Time Approaches
One common
theme to the end time Prophetic message is the warning to,
"Beware"... Repeatedly
we are warned to beware of the false messiah's,
the false prophets and the false
teachers. And, this warning
appears to intensify radically as the latter days draw
ever nearer.
As I was
sitting at the dinner table one
evening, meditating on Elohim's Word, and comparing
what I know to be true against what I am seeing transpire in this world, I
couldn't help but be taken aback by the fact that as we do approach
the end time, and as we do approach
the fullness of the period of tribulation, the warnings that we have
been given throughout Scripture to, "Beware", become ever
more significant to us.
I was
mindfully informed that this
truth is so, and becoming ever more increasingly
important, because as we do approach the last days, and as we do
approach that time of intense
tribulation, we will NEED to remain in closer contact with our Master
and Messiah through the Ruach ha Qodesh, or else we will falter
terribly in despair!!!
Over the past
weeks, I have wrestled endlessly with a bunch of different matters, and
at the end of each day,
as I laid down to rest, I could
not say with any degree of satisfaction,
that the matters clogging my mind had
any true significance whatever. That is -
they had
absolutely nothing to do with the Truth
of Elohim's Word or with furthering salvation
through Yahshua!
The warning to
"Beware" speaks directly to these matters, because false Messiah's,
false pastors, false
prophets and false teachers will come
in many different shapes and sizes -
as well as in many different
ministries and non-ministry related
positions, and in their coming they will attempt to distract us from what is
truly significant! Do you see that, beloved?
We often want
to categorize the false ministers of the end time into a group that isolates
them into some sort of
recognized "christian" ministry. But, the warnings we have
been given throughout Scripture do
not isolate these false ministers this way... And just what
does that mean?
It means that
everything we see and hear - everything - must be weighed against the Holy
Word!
Everything at
work. Everything in the news. Everything at play.
Absolutely everything that comes
into our minds, must be weighed against the fullness of what we know to be
true in Elohim's Word - AND - the
chaff must be burned off as rubbish!!! And the
application of this
truth must happen moment-by-moment and day-by-day...
The false
practitioners do not have to be wearing the
robes of a preacher, nor do
they need to be a suit
standing behind a podium on Sunday
morning. False shepherds are everywhere
- trying to lead us down the
wide path to destruction.
Oh, beloved of
Yahshua, beware the wolves in lamb's clothing.
Cling to the
fullness of Yahshua - as pure lambs - and surrender everything unto Him.
He will burn off the chaff for us,
and He will insure that our hearts remain pure unto Him. But,
we must be mindful of these things; ever thankful, ever joyous and
ever full of praise unto Him...
Beware the
false practitioners of this world, because as the day draws ever nearer,
they will strive to distract you in
oh, so many ways, and they will be
tremendously clever in how they worm
their way into your lives.
3. PRAYER REQUESTS:
Amy is seeking
prayer for her husband, George, who has abandoned his family! She is
asking that we pray for his heart to be turned back to His Master and
Messiah, and back to his family as well.
Please pray for the Ekklesia, the Body of Yahshua. Spiritually difficult days are approaching, and many are not prepared!

4. FEEDBACK:
We received the following letter of victory this month, and I wanted to share this loving, powerful and Yahshua praising letter with you:
In March I asked you to pray for my diagnosis
of throat cancer. More specifically advanced growth "squamos
cell carcinoma" in the left tonsil, three lymph nodes, and base
of tongue.
Well after four chemo and fifty radiation treatments
and a bunch of answered prayer the cancer has been eliminated. No
signs remain Praise God! You sent me a healing prayer email.
I read it aloud as if we were praying together at that moment. Thank
you Brother Larry for taking the time to send that prayer.
My personal prayer through the treatment was no
matter what life or death that Christ be Glorified. I hope my
testimony of my healing brings Him a bit of Glory.
