1. EDITORIAL: Thoughts on the 'Protests' now
taking place against the war in Iraq...
In the days, weeks and months following the 9/11 attack on the people and
nation of the United States, the global community (except for the
terrorists and their supporters) rallied behind the President of the United
States, as he vowed to eliminate the future threat of terrorism from the
world.
As we engage in yet another war, following through on that vow, it seems that
a great number of the global community has already forgotten what started all
of this in the first place! And ever so sadly, it appears that most of
the forgetting seems to have occurred right here in the United States of
America.
I will not judge those who are protesting against this war, because they have
every right to protest. (And, as a Vietnam Vet, I too fought to protect
that liberty and privilege). But I do wish to express a simple thought
that may not have entered the narrow focus of their attention, because by
their actions they are clearly showing a lack of love, compassion and
disciplined intelligence.
The thought is quite simple: Do you realize that over 250,000 of this nations
youth are currently walking in harms way, protecting your right to protest;
protecting the very lifestyle that allows you to protest?
By the actions and words that are being seen and heard today around the
country, it is clear that the military is coming under fire for doing what
they have been ordered to do. Whether you agree with the commands that
our military is now following, or not, is absolutely insignificant. The
fact remains that our sons and daughters; our fathers and mothers - our youth
- are walking in harms way, in need of our prayerful support.
As a veteran of an unpopular war, I know first-hand the affect of walking
through an airport in uniform, hearing the snickering; watching the faces of
disgust.
The men and women protecting our liberty (and way of life) today, deserve
much, much more than that. They do not deserve the violent protests that
they are seeing today. And yes, they are watching these things on TV
too! They deserve our unswerving support and respect. They deserve
our unity - in prayer - behind them!
If you disagree with the war, then go to the polls next November and voice
your opinion! Go to the polls every November and voice your opinion!
That is what a democracy is all about...
Now, however, is not the time to behave poorly. Now is not the time to
protest against the men and women who are protecting a way of life that allows
us to protest. No, now is the time to unite in support of our children
who are walking in harms way. Now is the time to be on our knees in
prayer for the safety of our military - and for wisdom, knowledge and
understanding for our military and political leaders.
May Yahshua have mercy upon us, and may our military personnel - and all
coalition forces - be protected under His wing.
2. FEATURE ARTICLE: Prophetic message
regarding the war in Iraq.
I have had a very strong sense, by what has been said in the past, that
Northern Iraq is most certainly going to cause the greatest 'test' for the
military of the coalition (and for the warriors of Yahshua) to overcome.
Strangely, the refusal by Turkey to allow US and British troops to enter into
Iraq through that nation, will ultimately prove to be an absolute blessing
from our Father, and not the 'obstacle to overcome' that the military and
political leaders now think...
By not entering into Iraq through Turkey, we have not encountered the trap
that has been laid, and the delay in getting there will - prayerfully - work
to the advantage of Yahshua's army, as we unite in prayer against this evil...
The following prophetic message speaks reams to us regarding the nature of the
war we are involved in, however, and I present it here, without further
comment, for your benefit:

Subject: Danger in the NORTH of Iraq!
Friends, Prayer warriors, to all of you who call upon the Name of the Lord and
stand in the gap for the American troops fighting in Iraq, and for Israel
safety! As my husband and I were beginning to pray with the intent to
pray for our children, I was strongly moved to pray FIRST for the American
troops. As I began to pray the Holy Spirit literally "hit" me
(I can't describe it any other way) and I began to pray in tongues, while I
was being touched as by flames of fire, especially on my forehead as by a
"fireball" right above my nose. I entered into deep
supplication, with loud cries and groans and weeping until the flames caused
me to shake from head to toe.
Then the Holy Spirit directed me toward the North of Iraq and began deep,
heavy intercession, calling for a SHIELD of protection! To make it
short, apparently the greatest and real danger to our troops lurks in the
North of Iraq, where Saddam apparently has set traps for our troops.
This may be the reason why the troops encountered hardly any resistance in the
South of Iraq, and that the Iraqi forces deployed there who surrendered are
perhaps meant to make the war alliance believe that their victory will be an
easy one. What I mean is that these Iraqi troops may have been
instructed to "surrender" in order to get the alliance believe in a
quick and easy victory, luring them to push on forward toward the North.
Saddam, his foreign minister and minister of communication spoke of the
alliance troops eventually "meeting with their fate". All
three voiced their firm belief that it is the "war mongers", the
"power mongers" and those who want Iraqi's oil wells who want and
are pushing this war. If that is indeed what the Iraqi leadership
believes, then it would seem to me quite logical that Saddam and his men would
have hidden their weapons of mass destruction in the vicinity of the oil
wells. Perhaps even somehow connected with the wells, so that if or when
the alliance troops will want to take control of the oil wells (as the Iraqis
believe) they would "meet with their fate" there with these weapons
of mass destruction being triggered.
Our prayers will make the difference between one day seeing on the TV screen a
"field of death" with corpses of American and British troops strewn
across a large area, or these weapons being rendered powerless, null and void
and without effect.
Hence, there apparently is a MORTAL DANGER in the North of Iraq, as it would
seem around Kirkuk and Mozul. The anointing on me was extremely powerful
and so was the Holy Spirit's weeping, groaning and intercession. He had
me pray that the troops will be kept safe from the trap Saddam and his men may
have set there and instead the trap will catch his own forces; that the snare
he has laid out for the troops will catch his own foot; and that the pit he
has dug for our troops he and his own men will fall into it.
Then the Lord urged us to pray Psalm 91! PLEASE, do NOT merely READ the
Psalm! You need to apply it directly, personally, praying the Psalm in a
direct application to the troops and your children in battle there!!!
That is what my husband and I did, too. When it speaks of arrows flying,
call the "arrows" missiles, mortars and bullets, and when it speaks
of "pestilence" name it as chemical and biological weapons.
Put the ancient terms into modern ones, as they apply to today's warfare.
PLEASE, KEEP CONCENTRATING ON THE NORTH OF IRAQ! It is THERE where the
Holy Spirit pointed out to be the greatest danger lurking for our troops!
If other intercessors and/or prophets get the same warning and message, then
KNOW that it is there where we got to concentrate all our intercessory
efforts. I have not been moved for quite some time to such an extreme as
this morning, into such a specific location, being constantly shown and
hearing in my spirit that it was UNDERGROUND!!!
We called it to be rendered null and void of its power and of no effect.
We prayed for a wall like a huge shield to be placed by G-d around our troops
that will keep safe air trapped inside that shield for them to have safe air
to breath. It was in particular the attack on their ability to breath,
hence this must be where most of the chemical/biological backlash may be most
likely connected with the oil wells. It may be that there, underground,
by the oil wells, Saddam has set his "troops trap"!
He does not reckon with G-d's prophets and intercessors to be shown Saddam's
traps and snares, just as Elisha was shown and given to hear what the king of
Syria plotted in his bed chamber.
Let us not cease praying until this most unfortunate war is over! And THEN
pray most fervently against the "road map" and for protection
against major terror attacks! For that is also what I have been shown
that as a backlash of vengeance (for years to come like the Palestinian
Intifada against Israel) terror attacks would be launched against the US (AND
the British), her shores and her major cities.
So, prayer warriors, your job won't be over for a LONG TIME!!!
PLEASE, send this warning out to your own lists of those who engage in regular
intercession. Our prayers will make the difference between life and
death. Let us stand in the gap and make up the breach for our troops and
nations! Pray that Israel and America will embrace a solid steadfast
alliance with each other as true friends and allies, and that American
administrations will only APPEAR to be wanting to implement the "road
map", yet put so many obstacles in the way so that it won't ever be
implemented by the United States. Especially those of us of dual citizenship
(Israeli and U.S.) need to intercede most fervently!
Love in Yahshua, and connected with you in prayer, as directed by the
Holy Spirit, our Counselor and Guide.
