1. EDITORIAL:
Thank You!
Over the past two weeks we have received a number of letters from some of our
newsletter subscribers, asking if we were well, because we have not published a
newsletter for a few months. Asking too if our hearts have turned to
things other than serving our beloved Master, Messiah and King. Well, beloved,
let me tell you that all is well on the western front. Praises be!!!
In our last publication, back in April, I gave an update on the Divine Name
Bible, and also discussed how we were getting involved in a business of our own.
Interestingly enough, and contrary to what you might have thought, I abandoned
the Quixtar business venture very early on, because I just did not have enough
time, energy or desire to spend on something not related to the true labor of my
heart, which is our ministry through The Letters and the work needed to be done
on the Divine Name Bible.
And the reason I haven't written any newsletters since then is primarily because
- and I know some of you are going to howl at this notion - I really didn't have
anything to say!!! :-)
My heart has been troubled by many events over the summer, but the Master has
shut my mouth for a season, as I contemplated what I might say and how I might
say it. Of these things, it appears that a shift is taking place in my
thought process, as the messages that I might have written seemed a bit more
forceful; a bit more prophetic in nature. Because of these things, I have been in much prayer over the format of this newsletter - and the direction that
I think Yahshuah is moving me to take regarding the subjects and content of this
work.
I can only pray that you know me well enough through our previous writings, to
know that I will strive with every ounce of energy that I can muster, to NOT get
ahead of our Master. I may not always be listening as well as I should,
which may cause me to lag behind a bit, but I labor intensely to never get ahead
of Him. Thus my caution with regard to these (or any other writings) I
might present.
Thank you though, beloved, for sending your most loving and caring notes.
I promise to not allow so much time to pass before I write again, even if that
writing is just to bring another update...
2. FEATURE ARTICLE:
Do Not Settle:
The Divine Name Bible is progressing nicely. This is a slow process
though, beloved, simply because mankind has done so much to make things very
murky. The translations of Scripture that we have before us today are
laden with insertions and deletions; thoughts and words either added or removed,
based upon some (what should we call it?) 'Some human beings will or whoop or fancy of the day'???!!! It's a sad commentary, but it all makes sense when
you really think about it!
The evil one has been plying his deceptive trade for centuries, and for
centuries he has been laboring to discredit (even) his Creator. And, we all know
just how good he is at his job! Well, if it were me, I would do exactly as he
has done: I would do whatever I could to discredit the message; to manipulate it
just enough to make it hard to comprehend; to make it wrong!
The NIV (the latest translation to be put forth by mankind) is a perfect example
of this fact, because, beloved, if you didn't know,
the NIV is garbage!!! So much of The Word has been omitted from this
translation, supposedly on the guise of making it easy to read, that it really
holds very little comparison to the contents of Scripture. Passage by passage,
verse by verse and word by word, the NIV does not present Elohim's Word.
Nevertheless, the NIV is the most popular 'translation of the Bible' being sold worldwide today!
I firmly believe, however, (and hold this notion very tightly to my heart) that
when a Disciple of Yahshuah is called to KNOW the fullness of some matter, that no matter how difficult the task, no stone will go
unturned by that Disciple in their quest to determine the matter... Maybe I am being naive in this, but I will not be swayed or
moved from the position that, when Elohim wants us to know something, He will
insure that we have the desire to 'see it through'.
Many things have taken place over the course of history to bring us to the point
where we exist today, and many more things are about to take place in this
world, that will move humanity to fulfill the whole of Prophecy. Deception
is a major contributor to this fact... But, no matter how powerful the deception
might be, if Elohim wants the truth to be known - the faithful Disciples of Yahshuah will know the truth. THOSE WHO HAVE EARS WILL HEAR! Didn't
He say that? You bet He did...
Well, beloved, the challenge that I must present to each and every one of you
today is that you not be satisfied with your current level of understanding;
that you not rest on your laurels. The evil one is attempting to distract
and discourage each and every one of Yahshuah's Disciples, because he knows
fully well what the Ekklesia will do - once we truly awaken! And the time
to awaken has arrived...
If you think you know something - rethink your position. Turn over a few
more stones. Research the matter just a little bit more. Discard
pride too - and you have to believe me on this, there is no room for pride in
Yahshuah's Body; His essence will totally reject it - because if we don't remove
pride from our hearts, we will continue to stagnate. If you think He is
revealing something to you, investigate the matter... If He permits,
share your impressions with a trusted brother or sister - and pray together over
the matter - so that Elohim will be glorified, and so that the evil one will
finally be displaced from his throne (this world)...
Do not settle - for anything! The upward call simply will not permit us to
'settle' on anything - of this world. Until Yahshuah comes, and until His
glory and truth are fully revealed - labor on in your calling and ministry, so
that you will hear, "Well done, thou good and faithful slave!"
We are laboring on, beloved, not pursuing matters of this world, but in our
pursuit of His Word, His Truth and His loving approval.
Thank you for caring enough to write. Thank you for sharing your concerns.
Thank you for your prayers (Oh, how we covet your prayers). And thank you
for your loving motivation. We are truly and humbly touched.
