Dearest Brethren;
Today is a day of distress and grief for every soul in the world - knowledgeable
of today's events or not - because the disasters of this day affect humanity on
a global scale.
On the surface of our emotions, our hearts reach out in prayer for the victims
of the cowardly and despicable terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in New
York, the Pentagon building in Washington, D.C. and the passengers and crews of
the four high jacked jetliners. We cry out for the public servants who
have sacrificed their lives in the service of humanity. In the same light,
we earnestly seek for the protection of our military - who most assuredly will
be called into harms way in the near future, in order to avenge today's loss and
deter any further acts of hatred - and for the public servants who will continue
to risk life and limb in their continued service. We pray for all of their
families as well...Truly, these events impact many, many souls. Finally,
we pray for our political, military and public service leaders, especially for
the President, his staff and advisors, that they would lead our nation with true
wisdom, knowledge and understanding, and that the actions taken in the next
weeks, months and years will truly be to the glory of our loving Messiah.
Our prayer is thus, because below the surface of our emotions, we find ourselves
in a most earnest and heartfelt cry unto Yahshua for a revival - in this
country, and around the world.
Throughout the day we listened as many political and world leaders cried out for
"prayer" from their constituents and subjects. We watched as
"moments of silence" were observed. We also listened as a combined
House and Senate stood on the capital steps of this nation and sang, "God
bless America".
The hypocrisy of these pleas and actions did not escape us, brethren, nor can it
escape you!
The spiritual battle came to the forefront of society today, beloved, and we
must acknowledge its presence - and rise in battle against it!
The world, and this nation, have turned away from all that is holy and righteous
and true, and we must repent and return to the only One through whom we are
saved. The United States has abandoned nearly every belief of our
founders, and almost every tenet of purity, chastity and righteousness is lost
within our boundaries. The actions of this day, and the daily acts of
humanity - globally - testify to these truth's.
Only a true Qodesh Ruach (Holy Spirit) filled revival, in response to the
sincere and wholeheartedly rendered hearts of the children of Messiah, can
rescue our nation and world from the clutches of the satanic spirit that now
envelopes us. To this end we must unite in prayer! The body of
Messiah must rise to the occasion, today, because hearts are open today.
While it is true that this is a day of distress and grief for every soul in the
world, because the disasters of this day affect humanity on a global scale, we
are wholeheartedly praying that our most gracious and loving Messiah will use
the events of this day for His glory, and that through the shock and horror of
all that we have seen today, hearts will truly return to Him, for Therein alone,
will any of us find hope, peace, joy and life.
Please join us in prayer for our nation and our world.
