Beloved Brethren;

Over the years, as the number of visitors to The Letters have increased, we have been blessed of our Master through the brothers and sisters who have visited us through the email system. The immediacy of the exchanges make this a wonderful conduit. Sadly though, our 'popularity' has also spawned an increase from those of this world who would wish to silence this ministry, and who are flagrantly attacking us on many different levels.

Equally sad, is the fact that we receive an inordinate amount of email laden with various virus's and worms, which are all meant to destroy the integrity of our electronic system.  In order to deter these attacks we made a decision very early on in this ministry, to not only purchase the best Anti-Virus program available - and to procure live, daily updates from that vendor - but also, to aid in the protection of our system, by NEVER OPENING EMAIL ATTACHMENTS...

Please understand that I am not trying to limit the exchange of sincere email or communication.  I am being a faithful steward, however, by not allowing our systems to be destroyed by those who find our ministry too bothersome.  Therefore, we
 NEVER OPEN EMAIL ATTACHMENTS.
I don't care who sends them, or what the contents are supposed to be...

Whenever I receive an email attachment, from anybody, I respond by asking the writer to copy and paste the contents of their attachment on to a new email, and to then forward that new letter to us.  Some comply!  Some do not!  (If you do not know how, please see below for instructions on how to copy and paste)...

Worms and virus's can only be transmitted today through email attachments, and then only when the recipient opens the attachment (and not merely by reading the original letter).  Why anybody would jeopardize their computer system by opening an email attachment, is beyond me, especially when we KNOW that the latest generation of worms are designed to locate the email address book within a computer system, and then to send itself to every name in that address book (making it appear as if a friend or relative were merely sending some cute photo or message).

If you open email attachments, you will eventually get burned by one of these worms - and your system will crash. In the process, you will lose every bit of data stored on your computer hard drive. All of it! We refuse to run that risk...

We are tremendously thankful for the seekers and the disciples of Yahshuah who have earnestly sought us out. In order to silence the current onslaught of junk email, however, we constantly change our web-site email address, just to keep the children at bay.  Therefore, should you ever receive an 'undeliverable' message to an email sent to this ministry, please check back here - because the links at the top and bottom of this page will always send your letters to our correct email address.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we know that our beloved brethren will understand...

In His love and service I remain faithfully and humbly your servant,
larryv

How to Copy and Paste:

There are two methods for copying and pasting data, and both methods are exquisitely easy to master.

Method 1. (For use when you wish to copy and paste an entire page).

At the top of every program is a bar - containing drop down tabs...  The bar will look something like this:  File  Edit  View  Insert  Format  Tools  Windows  Help

With the 'attachment' or page that you want to copy opened and active on your computer screen, place your mouse pointer on the "Edit" tab, and click on the left button of your mouse. A drop down menu will appear, and somewhere on that drop down menu will be the command: "Select All"...  Move your mouse pointer to highlight the words, "Select All", and left click your mouse again.  Everything on the selected page will be highlighted (darkened).

Then, go to your email program, and select a "NEW" letter. With the blank page on your screen, place the mouse pointer anywhere on the body of that blank page, left click your mouse button again, and then - with the cursor blinking on the blank page - click again on the "Edit" tab. Scroll down to the word "Paste", left click on that word, and - you are done!  The file should be copied from the old attachment page to the new blank page.  Now, all you need to do, is fill in the "send to" data, enter a subject for your email, and click on "Send".

Method 2. (For use when you wish to copy only a portion of a page).

Locate the data you wish to copy.  Move your cursor to the first letter or character of the data that you wish to copy.  (Using this paragraph as an example), move your mouse pointer to the left of the "L" in the word, "Locate", and left click your mouse.  This will position your cursor at the beginning of the paragraph.  Then, holding down that left mouse button, drag the pointer to the end of the paragraph (or sentence or symbol or whatever it is that you want to copy).  The entire selection will be highlighted.

With the selection highlighted, click again on the "Edit" tab, and find and click on the command, "Copy".  Then, opening a new email, click on the body of the letter, click again on the 'Edit" tab, and find and click on the command, "Paste".  The selection should now be pasted on to the new email.

This entire process can be simplified by using the buttons on your mouse, or by using your keyboard...

Copy and Paste using a mouse:

Left click your mouse at the beginning of whatever it is that you want to copy.  Hold down that left mouse button and highlight your selection.  Once the selection (and this could be multiple pages of anything) is made, take your finger off of the left button, and click on the right button of the mouse.  When you do this, a drop down menu will appear, and you can move the mouse pointer to the word, "Copy"...

Then, go to the new page where you want to "Paste" the data, position the mouse cursor where you want the data to be located - using the left mouse button - and then, right click your mouse again.  The same drop down menu will appear on your screen, and all you need to do is move the mouse pointer to the word, "Paste", and click on that command...  The selection will be pasted.

Copy and Paste using your keyboard:

Left click your mouse at the beginning of whatever it is that you want to copy.  Hold down that left mouse button and highlight your selection.  Once the selection is made, hold down the "Ctrl" key on your keyboard, and with that key depressed, hit the "C" key.  This is the "Copy" command shortcut.

Then, go to the new page where you want to "Paste" the data, position the mouse cursor where you want the data to be located - using the left mouse button - and then, hold down the "Ctrl" key on your keyboard, and with that key depressed, hit the "V" key.  This is the "Paste" command shortcut.

As always, we do sincerely strive to be of service, and I sincerely hope that this data is helpful to you in your labor and ministry for the beloved.

I remain sincerely and humbly your servant in Yahshuah ha Mashiach,
larryv
